What this area studies

Researchers here look at skin, and how it changes over time.

Skin is easy to see. It is easy to take a small sample of. So it gets studied more than most parts of the body.

Also named in this area

Results here are mixed, and we say so. One trial of a copper peptide on laser-treated skin found no real gain in wrinkles or skin quality. The lab work looks better than the human trials do.

We link what we read. Where a source found nothing, we link that too — a page that only cites the positive results is not a source list, it is an advert.
